The trains could use the same rail but not wait at the main track, as long as you keep one train per station Additionally, the Default 8m x 1m Ramp is often "paired" with the 8m x 1m Inverted Ramp for aesthetic purposes in order to eliminate the inverted stair step effect underneath caused by the use of multiple Default 8m x1m Ramps.

Three spaces to the right, place an 8m foundation block, then set a 2m single ramp piece angling "upward" (relative to the path of the incoming rail line) on top of that. Along one "edge" of the design space, place a steel pillar in the center of one of the foundation guide spaces Note to others like me still getting a handle on blueprints - you'll need to use a non-blueprinted piece of track to connect two of these together.
